Special Referendum  for the November General ballot from Called Meeting on August 02, 2022.

Online Voter Registration  can be completed here. Deadline for Registration for the November 8th Election is October 11, 2022.

2022 State Elections & Voter Registration Calendar shows important dates of all Elections and Registration deadlines for the 2022 year.  

Absentee By Mail Application can be printed and completed by the voter. Application can be sent via mailing address to Office or placed in Office Drop Box during business hours.

Daily Results for Advance Voting (Absentee in Person and Absentee by Mail) for the June 21st Election.

Logic and Accuracy Testing for Advance Voting and Election Day voting for the November General to be announced at a later date. Testing is open to public viewing and will take place at 715 Andrews Drive, Thomaston, GA 30286 from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM until 5:00 PM until complete.

Advance Voting for the November 8, 2022 General Election  will begin on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the Thomaston-Upson Civic Center located at 101 Civic Center Drive, Thomaston, GA 30286.  Advance voting will continue for 3 weeks as outlined below:

  • Week 1 -Monday October 17, 2022 through Friday October 21, 2022 - 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM
  • Saturday, October 22, 2022- 9:00 AM- 5:00PM
  • Week 2 -Monday October 24, 2022 through Friday October 28, 2022 - 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM
  • Saturday, October 29, 2022- 9:00 AM- 5:00PM
  • Week 3 -Monday October 31, 2022 through Friday November 4, 2022 - 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM


The Upson County Elections/Registrars Office is set up to handle all of the needs concerning voter registration for Upson County and the City of Thomaston. The office also carries out other duties that include but are not limited to the following:

  • Absentee Voting by mail
  • Advance Voting
  • Campaign Contribution Disclosure Statements
  • Candidate Qualification Procedures
  • Financial Disclosure Statements
  • Issuance of Photo Identification Cards (for Voting Purposes Only)
  • Voter Precinct Assignment Verification
  • Voter Registration List Maintenance
