Notice of the Field Review by the Assessor's Office
You are hereby notified (and should communicate this notification to any other occupants of your property) that pursuant O.C.GA 48-5-264.1 (a), representatives of the Upson County Board of Tax Assessors, with proper ID, may enter upon your property during normal business hours, for the purposes of determining the fair market value of your property or any adjustments thereof.
Responsibilities
The State Legislature, Department of Revenue and the Department of Audits administer procedure that govern the overall function of the Upson County Tax Assessor's Office.
The Office manages the information for the 15,000 plus parcels of real property and 1,400 personal property accounts in Upson County.
